What's in the porridge pot?

Porridge- Danielle's staple meal here. Once in awhile, she'll have a sandwich or spaghetti bolognaise. Seems quite 'cham' hor, eating porridge and drinking plain water day after day. Of course there are variations to the ingredients lah. The porridge du jour is cooked with long beans (diced), mince meat, 1 egg, garlic and ginger. Papa says die-die must put garlic inside to build body resistance to illnesses.

Errr....is papa right abt zee garlic?? But in any case, its never too early to start Danielle in the area of developing a "BAD GARLIC BREATH"

No more kisses frm Aunty Beppy, gal-pal!! Hahahaha

Yes. Ze Papa is right about garlic. It does build good resistance in the body- something much needed in UK. The air in London is quite bad actually. But remember must crush the garlic and leave it to react for 10 minutes before adding them to the food for cooking. Need to give the enzymes (that react to cause the antibodies to come alive) time to develop. I forgot the chemical terms for the before enzyme and after enzyme reacted names... =p

BUT dun overdo lah ha ha if not yea... she will be very garlicky in aroma.

Sometimes you can make savoury pancakes for her too I guess =) Or omelettes with meat and vege mixed in the egg. ^.^
