And then there was 1...

Received an email from Mel today, reliving our good ol' days. Days where 'The 3 Stooges' - Mel, JH and me, had late-nite coffee sessions at McCafe Westcoast, prata at Fong Seng, xiao long bao at Din Tai Fung (extra ginger pls!) and who can forget, chickie wings at IKEA. Although all our gatherings seem food-related, I think the meals were more like peripherals that complemented the enjoyment of each others' company. Sometimes, the meet-ups were long, sometimes short. But we always had fun listening to each other's grouses, giving JH the 3rd degree for not hving found a gf yet, rolling eyes at the 'darn-est' things Mel said...hahaha.

With the conveniences of modern technology today, I know it's not hard to keep in touch. But internet chats can simply NOT replicate the physical closeness of sitting next to your mate, putting a hand on his/her shoulder or glancing at them and sharing a smile. I sure do miss going out with you guys.

JH, you hold the fort in Singapore for now. One day (hopefully soon), we'll continue from where we left off.
